Model emerging from workshops discussions: Uncertainty often precedes EOL, with progressively reduced efficacy of technologies and increased value of palliative care. Concomitantly, emotional skills become increasingly more appropriate than cognitive skills to take care of needs of patients and families. Simulation-based training can improve those skills
